• Full name — to address your letters and identify your account.
• Email address — to send order confirmations, membership updates, and support replies.
• Mailing address (street, city, state, ZIP, country) — to mail your letters.
• Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We may also receive limited information from Stripe (such as subscription status and billing period) to manage your membership.

• To mail your monthly letters to the address you provide.
• To send order confirmations and membership-related emails.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To respond to your questions and support requests.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the services that make your subscription possible:

• Stripe — processes your payments and manages subscription billing. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Email delivery service — sends confirmation and membership emails on our behalf.
• Postal service — to deliver your physical letters.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

We keep your name, email, and mailing address for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to handle any follow-up correspondence. Payment details are retained by Stripe according to their own policies.

• Manage your subscription: You can update your card, change plans, or cancel anytime from your membership page at dearsportletters.com/manage.
• Email preferences: Transactional emails (confirmations, cancellations, refunds) are sent as part of your membership and cannot be turned off. You can reply to any email or contact us to update your preferences.
• Request your data: You can ask what data we hold about you or request deletion by emailing natalie@dearsportletters.com.

Dear Sport is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has subscribed, please contact us and we will cancel the subscription and refund any payment.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which maintains industry-standard security certifications. Mailing addresses are stored in a secured database with access restricted to authorized personnel.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
